NPC recommends the cushioned ceramic clutch kit for daily driven high performance road cars. Super Heavy Duty cushioned ceramic clutches are made by riveting a ceramic facing to a marcel segment, then rivetted to a solid center or sprung center clutch plate. The cushioning between the segmented ceramic facings allows this style of clutch to have a good engagement feel while providing benefits associated with ceramic material.
